Hisson’s Haven Cottage is perfect for the family desiring a relaxing country vacation. Big Bob Lake is a deep, clear, pristine lake boasting great fishing - bass and lake trout and home to a beautiful sounding loon family a sure sign of a good lake. The cottage provides a cozy setting for a wonderful family holiday. It comes with a paddleboat, kayak and canoe, with paddles.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Hisson’s Haven Cottage is rustic yet modern and fully equipped with dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, toaster, coffeemaker, microwave, stove, a BBQ, washer, dryer, dishwasher, Satellite TV, CD/DVD/VCR. It sleeps 8 in the cottage, 3 bedrooms, master with queen bed, and 2nd and 3rd bedroom with double bed and family room with pullout couch. There is also a 2 bedroom Bunkie that sleeps 6, each bedroom has a bunk double on bottom with a single on top. Bunkie also has 2 pc washrooms. Main cottage has 3 pc washrooms, and a family room for the extra space. There is a deck off the front overlooking the lake where you can watch the wildlife and boats go by.
EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
The lot is large with a gradual slope to the front sun deck near the dock on the shoreline. There is no marina on the lake. There is also a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and making somores.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY
The cottage is located 15 minutes from Minden with shopping, Beer Store and LCBO. Also a 45 min drive to Haliburton. It is about an hours drive from Algonquin Park, which offers incredible hiking and biking trails. Another fascinating day trip is the Wolf Sanctuary in Haliburton Forest or the world famous Walking in a Cloud attraction in Haliburton. There are also golf courses nearby BeaverBrook and Blairhampton in Minden and the Delta Pinestone resort boasts one of the finest courses in Ontario.
Rental Rates & Information:
High Season/Summer: $1200.00/wk.
Mid-Season (May, June, September & October – 2 night min.): $1000.00/wk. or $250.00/night
Long Weekend: $1000.00
Rates are for up to 6 adults - $100.00/additional adult (max. 10 adults). Children are free but number is to be discussed.
A $500.00 damage security deposit is due upon check in and will be returned to you upon check out or once the cottage and property have been inspected by the owner or his designate.
A 30% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking.
Outstanding balance and security deposit is due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
