Rustic yet cozy all-cedar waterfront cottage on an interesting (1) acre hilly, stone and woody lot that provides lots of privacy. It is ideally set in a small bay (only 3 cottages) therefore minimal traffic and safe for water activities. The cottage sits higher than the two neighboring cottages so there’s a great view of the bay and the lake. Stoney Lake is well-known for fishing of muskie, walleye, and bass. Children can enjoy pan fishing right off the dock.

Across the back is one bedroom with bunk beds, a second bedroom with full-sized bed, a third bedroom with bunk beds and cot, plus a 3-piece bathroom.
The deck across the front of the cottage has a picnic table and chairs for lounging. There is a propane BBQ grill off the side of the cottage. There are stairs leading down to the dock where the water depth is approximately 5 to 6 feet deep (yet in a distance of 20 feet from the dock the depth of the water may be 12 feet deep). The water gets deeper closer to the mouth of the bay. Water access allows for shallow swimming (weedy in places) and other activities such as fishing and boating. “Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation this summer at the Hill Crest Cottage on Stoney Lake. We booked for the first time through Kawartha Cottage Vacations and found the process to be seamless from beginning to end. The cottage we booked on line through the website was the perfect fit for our family and very well represented by both the description and pictures posted on the site. The bay was very private, the views great , the cottage very clean and well laid out and lots of fish to be had!”
