EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Water access via Anstruther Marina; very short portage which produces beautiful private wilderness lake setting; the waterfront decks and docksare built into the large granite boulder scape which adds great beauty and enjoyment- can fish or swim from these decks and docks.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Apsley is 10 km from Marina for small town stores and supplies; Lakefield is about 40 minutes and Peterborough is a 1 hour drive. There are many things to do in the Peterborough area.
DIRECTIONS
"This is a water access cottage." Once clients have arrived to Anstruther Lake Marina, the owner will take them for a short 8 minute boat ride (40 HP 16' Lund aluminum boat) to the north end of the lake. At this point there is a 5 minute portage in which the owner will help the clients transport all food, clothing and supplies to another boat (6 Hp 14' aluminum boat) on Rathbun Lake. The 6 HP 14' aluminum boat will be left with the clients for their use for fishing and sightseeing on Rathbun Lake. A canoe is also available for clients use. The 40 HP 16' Lund aluminum boat will remain docked at the lower end of the portage, at the north end of Anstruther Lake. It is there for emergency use only!
RENTAL RATES:
Summer rental rate is $1000.00/wk.
Low Season (Spring, Fall – 2 night min.) & (Winter – 3 night min.) rates are $800.00/wk or $150.00/night.
Long Weekend & Holiday Season rental rate are $900.00/wk or $150.00/night
A 30% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking.
Outstanding balance and security deposit is due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
