Sunset Beach Cottage is located on beautiful Crowe Lake in the Kawartha’s. It is listed as one of the top 10 cleanest lakes in Ontario, nestled 5 minutes north of HWY #7 – 45 minutes east of Peterborough – 35 minutes north of Belleville. The village of Marmora offers antiques, gift stores, groceries, a great park, restaurants and gas. The cottage has a beautiful natural sand beach 30’ to the water’s edge. Gently sloping sand bottom waterfront is excellent for small ones and adults alike. We offer a large dock, a floating raft, a row boat and a very large fire pit.
Crowe Lake is available year round and offers snowmobiling trails at the front door as well as great fishing for musky, pike, pickerel, bass and crappie.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Sunset Beach is a 3 bedroom cottage that is proud to offer a smoke free environment for its guests. We do permit it outside or in the sunroom. We pride ourselves on its cleanliness and comfort level. It is a nicely decorated cottage style home. Of the 3 bedrooms, the master is furnished with a stunning antique suite. The child’s room is on the same floor and has 2 twins, one with a child guard. (We also have a child gate for the basement stairs). The third bedroom is in a walk out basement and is a good size room with a double bed. As you enter the cottage the cozy living room awaits you with a full panoramic view of the beach front. It includes Bell Express View, a 42” flat screen TV, Blue Ray, DVD & CD players along with HDMI hook ups. The open concept design allows you a visual of the dining room and the large well stocked kitchen. The dining room would be considered a touch formal for most cottages. The kitchen has every amenity you could ever need. No need to bring a thing. Our appliance list include a wall oven, glass stove top, small convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, bar fridge, fridge and a countertop food processor center, as well as the usual coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker. Everything you might possibly need is here at the Sunset Beach Cottage. The bathroom is spacious and features a 6 foot tub and shower with Jacuzzi jets, vanity, bidet and toilet. Last but not least the screened in sunroom which offers you bug free dinning and a great view.
EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Sunset Beach cottage is a "sand castle haven as it has an awesome beach excellent for children. There is shade available under a large oak tree. We have a small deck on the east side of the cottage which offers early morning sun to enjoy your first java. The very large dock is great for tanning or just relaxing. The floating raft is at a safe swimming distance and is safe to jump off of.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY
There are many local activities to keep you busy if you can peel yourself away from the beach. Horseback riding, paintball park, shopping, dining, and a beautiful park are available.
Rental Rates & Information:
High Season/Summer: $1550.00/wk.
Mid-Season (April, May, June, September & October – 2 night min.): $1320.00/wk. or $255.00/night
Off-Season (November to March - 3 night min.): $1000.00/wk. or $255.00/night.
A $500.00 damage security deposit is due upon check in and will be returned to you upon check out or once the cottage and property have been inspected by the owner or his designate.
A 30% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking.
Outstanding balance and security deposit is due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in
