Our family had a wonderful time at Beaver Lodge. The house was clean and well kept, beds were really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with dishes and having a dishwasher for 8 people was much appreciated. We enjoyed swimming and paddle boating in the river every day. The yard is great for the kids to play and it was wonderful being able to have a fire every night. Wonderful place to stay, pictures were not updated, has a very large deck now with less grass in back area. Still has ample grass for games. Water is nice and clear very good swimming, not that deep so kids can swim, need water shoes though. Overall it was a wonderful time. —Eric L. (June 2022)

Beaver Creek Lodge is a modern, clean, beautifully furnished cottage. It has a very large deck for outside use and an open concept interior with comfy sofas and chairs. Lots of games to pass the evening hours or a large screen tv to watch movies at night. We loved how close it was to the water. Our group’s stay at Beaver Lodge was great. We were fortunate to have good weather and spent most of the time on the dock which was good for swimming. The house was cozy and clean and had all the necessities. We initially thought space would be tight for our group of 11 but it wasn’t the case. You do have to be careful going up the stairs and accessing the loft area however. Anyone with mobility issues can easily stay on the ground floor. We made good use of the canoe and hammocks. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful as well. The convenience of being a couple minutes away from grocery and other stores is always a bonus for these cottage getaways. — Nirvana (Jun. 2017)

 

My party– and myself included– had a wonderful stay at Beaver Creek Cottage! We will definitely consider renting again next summer– especially with KawarthaCottageVacations. Marmora is a beautiful town and it was excellent having it a short drive away from the property; it was very convenient for us, any time we needed anything. The property itself was very nice, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for our weekend getaway. The inside of the cottage was very spacious, and held true to our 10 person party. We never ran out of things to do, especially with all the movies and games, the sauna, and the recreation room! It was very convenient to have fire wood on site for us as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and would recommend Beaver Creek Cottage to anyone! – Jamie (Sept. 2016)
