A cozy, waterfront cottage with a loft, surrounded by trees off of a private road. This cottage is ideal for families with young children or couples, with a gradual slope to the waterfront. The combination of rustic meets contemporary allows you to enjoy the great outdoors with many of the same luxuries you would have at home.

Enjoy the sunshine in the day with swimming in the deep clean water, jump in or fish right off the dock or explore the river in one of the 2 kayaks or 4-person paddleboat. Appreciate relaxing and watching the river or a family meal in the screened in gazebo on the deck with seating for 6. Children and adults alike will be entertained at the sandy waterfront and playing sports on the large grass area. At night unwind on the deck and savour the beautiful sunsets then gather around the firepit to create great memories.

This was our second visit to the Blue Cottage Escape and we once again had the most wonderful time. It is the such a beautiful property with every amenity you could ask for while away from home. The cottage itself is cozy and comfortable. And the property is in the most perfect location. We love the sandy beach and shallow entrance into the water. And also the dock for fishing and swimming. My kids (ages 4 and 8) loved the trampoline, giant swimming mat and the paddle board. And the cool loft area inside! We enjoyed having campfires and eating every meal in the enclosed outdoor dining area on the deck. We did miss the table and chairs down by the water this year but made the best of it by bringing a few down from the deck. We had the most wonderful week at the Blue Cottage Escape. Everything was perfect – the cottage, location, property and amenities. Our ages range from 3-69 and we all enjoyed our time immensely. The cottage itself was clean, spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. It had everything you could possibly need when away from home. You could tell the owners put thought into everything there! The property was beautiful, right on the river with great swimming and fishing. We enjoyed using the paddle board and paddle boat. My kids also loved the trampoline, slides and sandy beach. We had an excellent stay at Blue Cottage Escape. KCV was great as usual, and the owners were excellent, responsive and so thoughtful! The cottage itself was perfect for us (a family of 4). So cozy, well and laid out, and very clean with everything we needed. In particular, the fireplace was outstanding on cool nights. Outside, the kids loved the trampoline and we all loved paddling the river or having dinner on the deck overlooking the river. This cottage was fantastic and the owner was so friendly and prompt with her responses. Having kayaks, a paddle board and a peddle boat was such a nice bonus and really allowed us to go out and explore the river. Blue Cottage Escape was the perfect getaway! The cottage is super cute, clean, and had great amenities. Loved the stylish decor as well. It truly felt like an escape. From the relaxing porch to the fire pit and brand new dock — everything was perfect.
