Magnificent newer open concept cottage with abundant natural light that affords stunning views whether inside or out, including spectacular western exposure sunsets. Beautiful open concept kitchen/living area with large Harvest style dining table and extensions for each end if necessary. The basement hosts another large sitting area with a shuffleboard table and walkout to property. Enjoy the sun on the dock from noon to sunset. Large decks with glass railing both at the cottage and down by the docking area. Swimming area surrounding dock is all sand, sandy shoreline is child friendly and makes for easy walk-in. Venture out on the water with your choice of available watercraft. For a perfect end to the day, settle in at the fire pit close by the water and marvel at the night sky while taking in the night sounds of nature.

Private – we are shielded from cottages on both sides by trees. One cottage uses dock in another bay so it cannot be seen from the lake.
Cottage faces west
Many artists have made the area their home, and they welcome visitors, especially during the popular Studio Tour in late September. This is also the beginning of our spectacular fall colour season, second to none in Ontario.
Well-groomed snowmobile trails greet visitors in the winter. Our local trails are interconnected to the vast Ontario trail system. Cross-country skiers will find groomed trails just off Highway 28 at Silent Lake Provincial Park and the Nordic Ski Trail at Haultain. Enjoy your favourite winter sport and the crisp air of winter in Apsley and surrounding area, the hub of the North Kawarthas.
Apsley (8 km): a bustling summer community with lots of ongoing activities throughout the year. There are a variety of nearby restaurants and golf courses as well.
Bancroft (50 km): Eagles Nest Lookout, Lakeside Gems Nature Shop with gems, rocks and minerals

A 50% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking (preferred method is Interac e-Transfer).
Outstanding balance + $1000.00 damage deposit is due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
The damage deposit will be returned to you by Interac e-Transfer upon check out or once the cottage and property have been inspected by the owner or his designate (within 7 business days).
Rental rates include all booking fees and taxes, if applicable. If your weekly rental includes a statutory long weekend, the rental rate will be calculated as a combination of the Long Weekend Rate and the regular Weekly Rate.
