Cottage boasts an open concept, large living area with woodstove and kitchen area overlooking lake. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom on each level; all with queen sized beds. Living room couch makes 1 more very comfortable single bed. Has potable lake water.
Top level has living room, kitchen, access to deck, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
Lower level has 2 bedrooms, large bathroom with wheelchair accessible shower and antique claw foot tub. Laundry room and wood stove on lower level also
Kitchen includes microwave, coffee make and toaster
Books, puzzles, board games, cards, stereo music player, VCR, DVD movies/player are available for your enjoyment
Private beach with sandy bottom and shallow entry; great for children and for boat launch. Lake Dalrymple is well known for excellent fishing. Large ¾ acre lot with trees on both sides for privacy. Granite outcroppings on lake front create 3 separate bays perfect for swimming, fishing, sailing, and sun bathing. Beach Bay has 30 foot frontage with beautiful shallow sandy bottom. Perfect as a play area for small children. Centre Bay has brand new L shaped dock 12’ x 20’ and 8’ x 20’. Water off dock is 4-5 feet deep, has zebra mussels on occasional rocks so water shoes are a must in that area. Mild weeds in this bay attract otters, muscrats, ducks, loons, and geese. Third Bay also has shallow sandy bottom with large granite rocks bordering it. Perfect sunbathing spot.
There is a large elevated 10’ x 24’ deck and screened in gazebo.
Lots of parking space on mildly sloped property featuring giant granite outcropping in front of cottage.
Town of Orillia has shopping, restaurants and a beautiful waterfront. Casino Rama and multiple golf courses are nearby.
Great time spent with friends and family July 27- Aug 3 at Granite Cove. Beautiful views of the lake and the accommodations were everything we hoped. Comfortable beds and spacious living areas. All amenities were as described and we were able to find everything we needed to make our week enjoyable. Plenty of room on the property for outdoor games and the beach and dock were perfect places to relax and enjoy a book or our morning coffee. Lots of different places to sit if you needed some time alone as well. Would definitely consider returning in the future. We rented this cottage in July for our immediate family and had others visit and stay a few nights. Amazing cottage and property! Perfect for kids and for dogs! Owners were wonderful to deal with and even contacted us afterwards to let us know we left some things behind. A 50% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking (preferred method is Interac e-Transfer).
Outstanding balance + $500.00 damage deposit is due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
The damage deposit will be returned to you by Interac e-Transfer upon check out or once the cottage and property have been inspected by the owner or his designate (within 7 business days).
Rental rates include all booking fees and taxes, if applicable. If your weekly rental includes a statutory long weekend, the rental rate will be calculated as a combination of the Long Weekend Rate and the regular Weekly Rate.
