Serenity now… our private and cozy cottage is located on a peninsula in East Twin Sister’s lake. It’s a private access spring fed lake with a handful of other cottages. Features a shallow bay area where small children can play with supervision, and separate dock area to enjoy swimming and boating without the risk of large wake or heavy traffic. Private water access makes for great fishing of small and largemouth bass (1.5 – 2 lbs at maximum size). The 2-acre lot provides ample privacy to enjoy nature and serenity with lots of opportunity to hike and explore. ATV and snowmobile trails are a short distance from the property.

Upper Level:
Bedroom # 2 Loft: double bed

Sofa bed – double on main floor in living room

The 2nd floor space is half height with open stairs from main floor. Not recommended for unsupervised children below 2 years old

This is a family cottage, so the cottage can be setup to accommodate small children. Standard child furniture available: crib, changing station and high chair.

Cottage water: from lake – treated and safe to drink. Recommended to bring your own potable water.

Indoor entertainment includes TV with media player, Nintendo Wii, WiFi, books and board games

Equipped with “technology suite” for working remotely

A/C … ~11K BTU portable air conditioning unit on the second floor (keeps the whole 2nd floor cool, but does not condition main floor)

Main Dock:  20’ x 6’ + 10’ x 8’ platform at end- 4 feet deep at end of dock
Second Dock:  40’ x 6’ in bay area – 2 feet deep at end of this dock

Weed bed off main dock

Good swimming – can swim off main dock (weed bed) and swimming improves once you are beyond the weed bed – approx 15’

Water shoes are suggested but not required

Canoe, 2 kayaks, paddleboat

Very private, 2 acre lot – single neighbor to the west, empty lot to the east

Cottage faces north – stunning sunsets

Privacy provides for excellent evening star gazing

Active wildlife area including chipmunks, squirrels, a variety of Canadian birds including loons, water foul, ferrets, otters and occasional bald eagle

We had a great stay At Hailey’s. The cottage was well equipped with a lot of extra amenities. The property was nicely situated (west sunset) lakefront with 2 docks to accommodate our fishing and kayaking and sunbathing. We rent a lot over the years and this was the best accommodation we have come across in this price range (very reasonable). The owner accepted a few phone calls on a few questions we had.—Robert W.
