We spent a week in the Fall at Loon Talk Cottage which was very enjoyable. The cottage itself was comfortable, well maintained, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed and more. The view from the cottage out over the lake was great. The area around the cottage was conducive to walking in the natural setting. We explored the surrounding areas of Lakefield, Curve Lake and Peterborough which were interesting and found a lovely restaurant for lunch in Lakefield called Cassis Bistro. Ken was most helpful in arranging and welcoming us to the cottage. I would definitely be interested in renting Loon Talk Cottage again and happy to recommend it to others. –Kathleen O. (Oct. 2016)
We were very impressed with this well equipped clean cottage overlooking the lake. Our family enjoyed the great swimming, beautiful sunsets and roasting marshmallows by the water. We would defiantly love to rent this property again! –Bev & Monty Messaros
This was definitely the best cottage we have rented! Easy to get too, very clean and has everything you need. The outdoor shower is amazing! The fire pit is well located by the lake and the beautiful adirondack chairs are very comfortable. Even if it rains it’s a great place to be. The large front windows provide a wonderful view, with a great open feeling. I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as we did. –Nancy from Port Hope.
