Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake. The unit is awesome. We had a great time, can’t wait to go back. —Mary W. (Oct. 2020)

We booked this cottage a year ago and it was worth the wait! Located on a beautiful bay and the scenery, gorgeous!! The cottage itself was really nice with a ground level walk out and just a short distance to the bay. The kitchen was stocked with lots of supplies. It was very convenient that the general store and LCBO were within walking distance. Kearney is such a beautiful town! We even checked out the antique shop and Kearney Treasures that had really nice gifts and knick knacks! Karen the owner was so nice and helpful!! Our weather was not the greatest but we made the best of it. We loved sitting in the sunroom and staring at that view! Even though the sunroom was not finished, it had a table and chairs and we played games out there. Our only regret was that we did not take advantage of the boats because of the weather being so blah. We were able to have a couple of fires out back. We booked again for next year and can’t wait! —Craig S. (Sept 2020)

The cottage was well located (location to town amenities and shopping for emergency items within walking distance was a surprise as was the full service LCBO ), and the cottage was well equipped, the owner was very helpful, supportive and responsive. We had a pleasurable experience. The Lions’ Club park and boardwalk nearby and the weekly market at Fetterly’s were also plusses. Thank you! —Dian B. (Aug. 2020)

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean, very modern, and very well-equipped. The beds were comfortable (we did use the rollaway bed) and we slept well. There were two paddle boats which we used frequently. There were also two rowboats (we used one). Fishing was fun. The lake itself is gorgeous and we swam every day. It was a short paddle boat ride or walk to the general store for treats. The fire pit was nice, but we only got to use it once due to a fire ban. The day we arrived, there was a mix-up and our beds weren’t made (we had opted to pay for bedding and towels) but Karen was very apologetic and quickly gave us the missing bedding and towels. Communicating with Karen was easy and friendly. As the rental is actually a self-contained lower level apartment, we were given the option to have the owner (Karen) not occupy the upstairs while we were on our vacation which is what we chose. As far as possible improvements, the attached gazebo/sunroom has a nice table and chairs with great views, but the room itself is unfinished and also serves as a storage area for outdoor items. I look forward to seeing it finished! There are adirondack chairs to use outside, but shade is hard to come by. We brought a table umbrella and stand out every day to sit under. That being said, we thought Karen and her cottage were both very lovely … we plan to come back! —Wendy D. (July 2020)

Owner is very friendly and accommodating. —Galina (July 2020)

Our stay was fantastic. The cottage was over the top beautiful, beach was fantastic, Karen was so kind. Overall a great place for my summer vacay, would definitely rebook. —Tami G. (July 2020)

We were delighted with our stay at Mirror Bay getaway. The location was perfect and the scenery was spectacular. It was a perfect stay. Large kitchen and dining table, large and comfortable living room with tv, DVD player and fireplace. The heated floors were a delight. The beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet and private.  I would recommend a stay at Mirror Bay getaway.— Amanda M. (Sep. 2019)

The cottage was amazing. Very clean,up to date amenities, beautiful lakes to explore and steps away to the water from the sliding glass doors. Great wifi. We enjoyed the quiet peaceful surroundings. We also enjoyed seeing the Beaver, the Loons,Ducks and Geese. The sunsets were amazing. The owner Karen was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.—Susan C. (July 2019)

My friends and I had a a great time. It is a beautiful place. —Connor M. (June 2019)

An amazing stay with great view of bay. The apartment was very comfortable and had all the necessary things in the kitchen. Our main reason for the stay was to visit family living in the area and have them visit with us and still have our privacy. The apartment was clean, the WIFI was available so we could all plug in and most important for my husband and son the TV had TSN broadcasting world cup games. We had a very enjoyable stay. The kids enjoyed going in row boat and paddle boat and playing with supplied board games. —Christina H (June 2018).

Thank you for everything. Your home is lovely and the scenery fantastic. —Cris H. (June 2018)

Thank you for a great week up north! I truly enjoyed your property. My hubby arrived on Friday afternoon for a peaceful weekend away from the city. See you next summer. —Nancy N. (September 2017)
