Serendipity Cottage is a 5-bedroom cottage with an additional 1-bedroom bunkie. Originally built in 1948, the cottage has a lovely living area with a stone fireplace and a large window overlooking the lake. In 2000, an addition was added which created 2 of the 5 bedrooms, a large 2nd bathroom with shower and clawfoot tub, and a walkout to the deck. A large living room, basement and screened-in sun room were also added to the home.

This is a very special cottage and you can feel the wonderful vibes as soon as you step in the door. It is a cozy, rustic, all wood cottage. The water is clear and has no weeds. The lake is great for water sports and fishing. There is also some fabulous wildlife about.

A wonderful place to relax with family of all ages.  Our 4 year old grandchild could walk into the water from the small beach for a swim while the 10 year old could dive in from the dock. My sister, visiting from Vancouver declared this the best cottage for swimming since there were no weeds. Three generations had fun fishing from the dock and from our boat. It was wonderful to see the activity on the dock and beach from comfortable seating at the cottage. Since this end of the lake is quite quiet, the younger family members were able to kayak or canoe safely on their own but it was just a short boat ride to get to more open water where they could enjoy tubing and skiing.  Different seating areas, inside and outside, provided ample opportunity for family members to relax together or to have their own peaceful time.   After a busy day on the lake, a warm bath and comfortable beds, airy rooms cooled with a steady breeze off the lake, ensured sound sleeping for everyone. -Gail R.
